Arrabiata Pizza/Pasta Sauce
They are very much available in market with many variations, I still prefer to make mine at home. It may look like a lot of work but it’s not. It’s easy to make & has complicated flavors that will take your pasta to another level. Also since it’s homemade you can choose the amount of oil or salt or chilli that goes in it minus the preservatives.
This red lucious goodness can also be used in a number of ways other than pasta. Spread it on a pizza(learn to make your pizza from scratch) or make bread pizza, suji toast, just a plain sandwich. Ideas are many…??

Directions to make Arrabiata Pizza/Pasta Sauce-
(Use the variety that has more flesh than water)
1 large onion finely chopped
2 large garlic peeled and minced
1 green chilli
1/2 cup or a handful of fresh basil roughly chopped
Salt and pepper as per taste
Italian herb mix
In a large pot heat some water. Poke knife though the tomatos and put them into boiling water. Cook for about 5 min.
Drain them. Let them cool. Peek the skin off and blend in mixer.
In a heavy bottom pan heat some oil, preferably olive oil.
Add minced garlic, cook for 10 sec then add onion & chilli. Cook until soft. Add tomatos puree and let it cook until the liquid has evaporated and you get thick tomato paste.
Add basil, salt & pepper and Italian herb mix. Mix well. It’s done.
