Chicken Cafreal is a spicy chicken preparation made in Goa.

The dish originated from Portuguese colonies in the African continent. It was introduced into the Goan cuisine by the Portuguese and the African soldiers serving under the Portuguese. Chicken Cafreal is made very spicy with a lot of dry spices and chillies. Served with potato and lime wedges.
