Banana & Chocolate Tea Cake

Tea cakes are my favorite. So many flavors, so many choices?. Banana & Chocolate Tea Cake is one such cake I make very often.

My son love it so much that he quite literally demands for it. When it was in the oven baking, he just couldn’t control his happiness. So eager to have cake but it take patience to bake and then letting it cool so that we can slice the cake? said mumma. So when it did cool down very cute-ly he said new mumma will click photo, then we will have cake????

With all this sweet talk I clicked very less pics. Few of the best I have posted. The cake was moist, crumbly and yet so tasty; with not too much chocolate overpowering the banana flavor.

The dark and intense color of the cake adds to the looks of cake too. This cake can be easily converted into a cream cake or top it up with ganache for a silky chocolatey flavor.
