Christmas Tree Pull Apart Bread

Its holiday time, pull up your sleeves and get baking. Its the best time to cook the christmas tree pull apart bread.

Its cheesy and so so tasty. The christmas tree pattern makes this a perfect holiday bake.

Plus this is a pull apart bread so easy to make and serve at christmas dinners/ parties.

For the filling between the bread you cam.choose anything. I am going with a coriander dip. You can choose a pesto dip or a spinach or basil dip. Choose whatever you like till the time its green and tastes yum. Plus a mixture of cheese.

Christmas tree pull apart bread

Directions to make the christmas tree pull apart bread-

Ingredients-

3 cups All purpose flour

1 tsp instant yeast

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 cups warm water plus more kneading

1 cup coriander dip *see notes

1 cup pizza cheese

3 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp milk

Method-

In a bowl add the warm water and add sugar and yeast. Leave aside for 5 mins for yeast to activate.

Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl. Now add the activated yeast.

Form a dough. Add water if require. In the end add 1 tbsp oil at a time and knead. You can manually knead the dough or use a stand mixer.

Eitherway the dough should be smooth.

Now on a parchment paper roll out the dough in a big rectangle.

With a pizza cutter cut a triangle for the tree.

Spread the coriander dip and top with cheese.

Top with another layer of dough.

Now carefully cut strips on the side for tree branches leaving an inch in the middle.

Fold twice each strip.

Brush with some milk.

Bake at 180°C for 35 mins.

**Notes

Fot coriander dip mix 3 tbsp coriander chutney with 2 tbsp cream cheese.

If you dont have cream cheese add mayo instead.
