There is no comparisons of homemade cookies to anything. I wanted some snack for my toddlers and this recipe really turned out awesome.
These are Eggless wholewheat coconut cookies can be eaten be anyone without guilt. This time I have used butter but next time I intend to use olive oil and will share the results with you. So check out other COOKIES recipe on the blog.
Directions to make Eggless Wholewheat Coconut Cookies–Ingredients:-
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 plus 3tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 cup desicated coconut
50g Butter softened
Salt a pinch(only if you are using unsalted butter)
1/2 tbsp Vanilla essence
2 tsp milk to adjust dough
Preheat oven to 180 C/350 F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Beat sugar and butter till fluffy.
Add vanilla essence and salt.
Now fold in the flour and coconut and mix until combined. If the dough is tough mix milk.
Now make balls and flatten a bit. Place them on baking tray 1 inch apart.
Bake for 12-15 mins. If the edges start to brown fast then remove before. If you leave it for more it will be more crispy than chewy(like mine).
