Delicious and juicy honey chilli baby corn skewers are one of the best recipes for vegetarian when looking for options other than potato based dishes.
How many of us make fried potato snack in any form or another when guest’s arrive. These baby corn skewers are a sure shot show stopper at any party.
If you enjoy spicy, sweet and tangy flavors then this recipe is for you.
The base of the sauce is picked up from my recipe Crispy Honey Chilli Potatoes and converted into this delicious baby corn snack. This recipe is perfect for house parties, cocktails, kitties or when entertaining vegetarian crowd. They will get tough competition from they non vegetarian counterparts.

Directions to make honey chilli baby corn skewers
Ingredients:
150 gm Baby Corn(around 12-15 piece)
3 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp red chili sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
2 spring onions & greens
1 tsp finely chopped garlic(optional)
Oil for frying
Method:
In a plate mix cornflour, salt & red chili powder.
Now place skewers in all the baby corns.
Rub the corn flour mix generously on the baby corn. Keep aside for 10 mins.
Now in a small bowl add all the sauces and honey.
Heat oil for frying baby corn. Fry the skewers till crispy. Please make sure not to over crowd the pan. Strain on a kitchen paper and keep aside.
Now heat two tbsp oil. Add garlic and spring onions. Saute for about a min.
Add the sauce mix and cook for 30 sec.
Now add the baby corn skewers and spoon the sauce all over them.
Serve on the serving plate and top with spring onion greens.
