Classic mushroom sandwiches are easy, fast and so simple.
If your kids don’t like mushroom, it’s a great way to sneak some in their diet.
I had some leftover mushrooms from my dinner last night which I didn’t use. So this recipe revolves around that.
Directions to make Classic Mushroom sandwiches-
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mushrooms
1 small onion
1 cup lettuce shredded finely
Garlic mayonnaise
Salt and pepper as per taste
Method:
To prepare mushrooms chop them finely and boil in salted water for five min. Drain and keep aside.
Add shredded lettuce, onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Now add the filling between two slices of bread.
Apply extra virgin olive oil on both slices of bread & grill in a pan or toaster until crisp.
Enjoy with tea.
The sandwich is tasty, moist and so yum. I bet the kids won’t even notice the mushrooms in it.
Feel free to add more veggies. The more the merrier. ?
