Eggless ragi & whole wheat brownies recipe that make no compromise on the taste.
It really does not change much in taste or the recipe. Made minor changes to the original one and voila. I had to test this recipe thrice to post here. No worries, more brownies for us?
This one has a perfect crinkle top and a great texture and crunch from the walnuts. So it’s all about the ratio of flours. A little too much of ragi/finger millet flour in there can ruin the taste so added some atta/whole wheat flour to compensate that.

Hi I tried making this recipe. The brownies taste a bit off can’t really put my finger on it and they are extremely Fudgy making it very difficult to eat more than one bite.
I don’t know what went wrong as I followed the recipe to a T. Maybe you can help me figure it out.
2-3 things I can think of. The chocolate you used could be different. I used compound banking chocolate. The cup measurements could be different. I have used standard baking cups for this recipe. Oven temp could be also the reason. If you usually bake cakes try baking it at a lower temp as it’s possible the cake is cooked but not set properly. You could also try to leave the brownie in tin over night or for a few hours so that it has time to settle. Hope this helps.
Hey!
I tried out the recipe and taste wise it’s good.
However it did not got done in 40 mins also.
Also, is this recipe don’t call for baking powder or baking soda or it got missed out.
Brownies don’t really need baking soda or baking powder. Baking time differs from oven to oven and the size of baking pan.
