Give me this breakfast twice a week and I will not complain. Even my toddler loves it so much. Its easy to make and oil free as the malai/cream does all the work. And comm’on I know its malai and fatty and all but we eat cheese so why not our desi stuff. Great tiffin item and evening snack too?

Directions to make Sooji/ Rawa Toast-

Ingredient:

5 tbsp malai/fresh cream

5 tbsp sooji/ semolina

1 large onion finely chopped

1 large tomato’s finely chopped

1 large green capsicum finely chopped

1 large carrot grated

Salt & pepper as per taste

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and leave for 5 mins.

Take your bread slices. Spread the filling on the top.

Place on the mild hit tawa/ skillet. Once browned enough flip it and let it cook on low heat till you see bit of moisture leaving the sides.

You can also bake this in a preheated oven at 200°C for 5-7 mins until crispy.

Now flip it directly on your serving plate.
