Eggless Oats Wholewheat cookies are tasty treat for kids or a nice tea time snack.
Made these in a jiffy for my kiddo. Stay well in an airtight container for about a month. A glass if milk and these cookies are a filling snack for kiddos.
So mums if you are looking for healthy cookies this one is surely to be liked. Its easy to make and tasty too.
Directions to make Eggless Oats Wholewheat Cookies-
1 1/2 cup oats flour ( take regular oats and make powder in a mixer grinder)
1 cup wholewheat flour ( regular atta)
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter melted
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
Prep all your ingredients before starting. Everything should be at room temperature.
Preheat your oven at 180°C for 10 mins.
In a bowl mix butter and sugar lightly.
Now add the oats flour and wholewheat flour and baking powder too.
When you start mixing it will start to resemble sand. Make sure it’s is mixed well.
Now add milk 1 tbsp at a time and rub it so that the mixture starts to resemble a dough. (It will not exactly come together like a dough but will form shape so that’s what we want).
Line your cookies tray with parchment/baking paper.
Make small round with your palm and shape the cookies.
Place them 1 inch apart as it will expand both ways while baking.
Bake for 12-15 mins.
This makes a soft but crispy cookies. If you want chewy cookie bake for 10-12 mins.
(Makes 20 jumbo cookies)
