Really awesome and easy peasy recipe for a Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala in just 30 mins.
Cottage cheese cubes dunked in creamy & tangy gravy tastes so good and with minimal effort.
So so easy to pull off. Now it’s my favorite recipe to make in a party as the process equals to doing next to nothing.
You can serve it with naan or laccha paratha or rice; it’s so versatile.

Directions to make paneer butter masala-
Ingredients:
200gm Paneer / cottage cheese cubed
2 large onions
4-5 large tomatoes
8 cashews
2 inch ginger + 5-6 pods of garlic (optional)
Salt as per taste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp Jeera powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp jeera
5-6 tbsp oil
Sugar(optional)
2 tbsp white butter or amul butter
1 tbsp crushed kasturi methi( optional)
4 tbsp malai/ fresh cream
Method:
In a heavy bottom kadai add onions, tomatoes, cashew plus ginger garlic if using. Add water to cover everything.
Boil everything together for 15 to 20 mins. Once cooled, blend and keep aside.
Now heat a pan add butter.
Add jeera and all the masala. Mix.
Now add the blended masala.
Mix well.
Cover and cook for another 10 mins.
Lastly add Paneer cubes / cottage cheese cubes.
In the end add malai/ cream and add kasturi methi.
Enjoy with hot phulka/paratha/rice.
