Broccoli And Pea Soup

Broccoli and pea soup is particularly for those cold days when you need warmth of hearty soup. As expected this is also healthy but equally delish. Pair it up with baked whole wheat bread and a healthy salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 large red onion
  • 3 garlic pods
  • 1 large broccoli head chopped roughly
  • 2 cups peas
  • A handful of basil

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan. Heat some oil. Add onions & garlic, cook till soft.
  2. Add peas, cover and cook till almost done.
  3. Add broccoli, basil & water and cook until soft.
  4. Once slightly cool, blend into smooth puree. Serve warm with baked whole wholewheat bread.
