
Popular Indian paneer/cottage cheese gravy dish served with roti or laccha paratha and onions on side.
Add ingredients under masala and boil for 15 mins. Let it cool and blend into a paste.
I like a little coarse texture but you can make a fine paste.
For gravy start by heating butter. Add bay leaf and onions. Saute till onions are soft or a little brown.
Add the blended masala and stir well.
Time to add spices. Start by adding salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
Now masala needs to cook till you see that oil is seperating.
Add sugar & water. Stir again.
Add paneer cubes. Very gently mix. Around 5 minutes by partially covering.
Lastly add kasturi methi and shredded paneer. Mix well.
After this you can also add cream if you like. Enjoy!!
