Healthy & tasty oats Chocolate Chip Cookies are one of my favourite bakes.
Oats are high in dietary fibre and it’s one of my favourite ingredients to bake with too.
Eating mundane masala oats or overnight oats or oats Porridge can be boring. Enjoy this sweet treat with benefit of Wholewheat & oats.
Directions To Make Wholewheat Oats Chocolate Chip Cookies-
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Salted Butter
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup Whole Wheat flour
1&1/2 cup Oats
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
2tsp vanilla essence
1tsp baking powder
1egg
Method:
Whisk together butter and sugar till fluffy. Add in olive oil and whisk again.
Add egg, vanilla essence and baking powder. Whisk until combined.
Add the flour. Mix with a wooden spoon. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Now lastly add oats and mix well.
This will be a thick dough.
Make small ball and pressbthem to shape a cookie and place them on a lined baking tray. Bake at 170°C for 15 mins.
Enjoy with your tea or a glass of milk for kids.
