Nickelodeon’s New Show ‘The Casagrandes’ Review

In the age of digitization kids are relying more and more on online ways to entertain themselves at home.

The Casagrandes

Gone are the days when there were limited shows to choose from each age category!

If you have a kid around 3+ chances are you’ve heard of the popular channel Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon is the number one brand for kids with original cartoons, movies, sitcoms, shows etc.
They have there own page on youtube channel and some of the most popular shows are available to watch. Some of my kids favourite are the animated series the SpongeBob SquarePants, teenage mutant ninja turtles, ALWINNN & the Chipmunks.

The Casagrandes

Their new show ‘The Casagrandes’ is a spin off from Nickelodeon’s emmy award winning cartoon ‘Loud House’.

Its a story about Ronnie Anne, a 11 year old whose journey unfolds adventures and excitement as she explores a new chapter of her life of living with her extended family, the Casagrandes.

The extended family has grand parents, cousins, uncles and aunts. Its one crazy family and Ronnie Anne and her mother fit perfectly in there.

The show creators have tries hard to avoid any Latino stereotypes. Its one of the first shows to show mixed mexican american characters and kids will easily be able to relate to the characters.

This show is loud, fun and exciting with an obvious slang of Spanglish that’s clearly heard throughout!
Anne is ever ready with her skateboard and schemes on her mind. The whole family kids of reminds me how we used to live in joint family as kids and how each one of us were together but very different! And loud for sure.

There is love, laughter, discoveries and plenty of food in the story. And its totally worthwhile watching the show!
