This recipe is my go to to make paneer tikka masala. And best part is that it tastes just like restaurant style paneer tikka masala or maybe even better.
Paneer Tikka Masala is also one of the most ordered vegetarian main course meal in restaurants. Gravy with crispy paneer tikka is delicious and tasty with some kachumbar salad.
To make this recipe you need to make a good paneer tikka and my recipe is perfect and foolproof. You can make it in oven, tandoor or on a pan.

Directions to make paneer tikka masala-
Paneer Tikka Masala is a popular Indian vegetarian main course dish. Grilled paneer is served with a creamy base of onion and tomato gravy.
- 2 finely chopped onions
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 Finely chopped tomatoes
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1 black cardomom
- 2 small Bay leaf
- 1 tsp jeera/cumin
- 1 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
Once you have paneer Tikka cooking in the oven, heat the oil.
Add jeera, bay leaves and cardomom. Let it roast as the oil heats.
Add chopped onion. Cook til its brown.
Add ginger garlic paste. Cook for another min till raw smell goes.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 10-15 mins or till oil leaves the sides.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Cook well for another 3 mins.
Add the paneer Tikka, garam masala and cream.
Mix and cook for 1 mins. Enjoy with hot rotis.
