Veg Keema Samosa, easy soya & vegetable samosa

Veg Keema Samosa, easy and instant recipe.

I made it for my kitty party and it was a hit. Usually we lean towards snack that have boiled potatoes in them but this time I experimented.

These are tasty and can be prepped easy in advance, freezer friendly. And easily manageable when cooking for a crowd. One of the yummy finger food I have made.

Typically served with ketchup and tea.

Directions to make Veg Keema Samosa-

Makes 50 samosa.

Ingredients:

1 pack of ready made Samosa sheets

250gm soya granules

2 large red onions finely chopped

1 large capsicum finely chopped (use any color)

1 cup grated carrots

4 tbsp ginger garlic and chillies paste (optional)

Salt & pepper as per taste

3-4 tbsp dark soy sauce

2 tbsp red chilli sauce

2-3 tbsp green chilli sauce

Ketchup as per your taste

Method:

In a large pot heat water and boil the Keema until cooked and keep aside.

In a heavy bottom pan heat some oil and saute the onions till soft.

Add in capsicum and carrots.

Now add the ginger garlic and chillies paste and cook till the raw smell goes.

Add in the salt and pepper and all the sauces.

The sauces will deglaze the pan. Immediately add the keema.

Cook until you get an almost dry mixture. The sauces should be cooked enough that the filling should not have excess moisture.

Now time to make Samosa.

Fill all the Samosa sheets(around 1&1/2 tbsp per samosa) and prepare in advance.

Fry and serve hot.

* I have used sauces to give it flavor, use whatever you like.

** Using ginger garlic is optional but gives amazing flavor.

*** To freeze simply prep the Samosa and place them straight in a freezer friendly zip lock bag.

****I have only used water to seal the edges.
